The library does not have plagiarism software. However, the University subscribes to TurnItIn. Access is currently dependent on your learning management system.
- For Colleges that use Canvas, courses may have a section where students can check their own assignments for plagiarism before turning it in. Please check with your faculty to see if this is available in your course.
- For Colleges that use Elentra or Sharepoint, a TurnItIn account must be created before you can use the software. Please open a ticket with IT.
- Some of the librarians have a TurnItIn account to check for student plagiarism. Contact reference@westernu.edu for assistance.
